Dear Colleagues,

This will be organized and hosted by Centro Escolar University, Manila Philippines on August 27-28, 2024 in Manila Philippines.

The Conference aims to:

  1. 1. Construct new understanding of emerging trends in health sciences
  2. 2. Recognize meritorious contributions in research through paper and poster presentations.
  3. 3. Foster collaboration among health science educators and institutions

There will be sub themes for the conference: (1) Health Science Education (2) Healthcare Innovations and (3) Healthcare Alternatives. The Conference features a Keynote Speech, Plenary Sessions, Scientific Paper Presentations and Poster Presentations. There will be a lot of networking and cultural understanding that will happen among health care educators.

This is also our response to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 on Good Health and Well Being and UNSDG 4 on Quality Education.

With the advent of AI and other technologies like Robotics and Blockchain Technology, Health Science Education is indeed fast changing and fast moving such that there is a need to constantly share experiences, adapt the best practices, establish communities of practice, and always be updated with the latest trends for the benefit of our learners keeping in mind also the need for industry to be involved so that during this Conference, Centro Escolar University is also establishing a network of Health Science Educators among universities in the Asia Pacific which will be called Asia Pacific Health Science Educators Network (APHSEN).

The main aim of the APHSEN is to create opportunities for collaboration and cultivate partnerships that can be powerful mechanisms for supporting changes when and if need be. We invite Universities, Colleges, Schools across the Asia Pacific that are involved in or offering Health Science Programs as well as individual personnel who are engaged in teaching and/or research in Health Sciences to become member of this Network and be active during the organizational meeting in the evening of August 26, 2024.
